That's my man!

On Thursday night Mark and I attended the PISD Teacher Gala. This is the awards ceremony and dinner to honor all teachers who have been chosen as teacher of the year or beginning teacher of the year for their campuses. Mark was chosen beginning teacher of the year for his school, so he was there to be honored! There was a very nice dinner held at the Plano Civic Center. Then each honoree got a chance to cross the stage and received prizes. Mark was given a very nice paper weight with his name and award title on it, along with a bag of goodies! I am VERY proud of my husband. He is a wonderful man and I know that he has such a positive influence on the students that he teachers. Go Mark!
