So I was sitting at the computer this morning at about 9:30 and heard a strange noise. I thought it might be our cat, so I went to check on him. He was snoozing on the sofa, all cuddly and cozy. As I walked back to the computer I looked through the atrium doors into our backyard and saw this:
No, my friends, that is not just a big cat. That is bobcat! In my backyard! Aaaaaa! I quickly got my camera out and snapped some pictures. Apparently the sound I had heard was Mr. Bobcat catching his mid-morning snack.
I followed him around to the side yard by looking through the doors in our dining room. After that he disappeared into a corner of the yard I can't see through any windows. So, he may or may not still be there, but there is no way I'm going outside to check!

oh my! That's so scary!! I thought by your title you'd be sharing about a backyard bunny. Keep your kitty inside!
Oh my goodness. Our neighbors have two cubs living under their deck. That is very scary.

yikes!!! Not a fun cat to have in the backyard!! I had a goat wander through my yard when we lived in Searcy:)
Yikes! Our neighborhood apparently has a bobcat that wanders around the green belt sometimes. I definitely do not want to meet him after seeing this!
